Starting to come

The answers are starting to come.  On Monday while Ben was at the doctor, they offered a sign up for "my spectrum".  My spectrum allows me to look up his tests and results.  I perused through his recent labs, and found that not only was his thyroid stimulation hormone high on his most recent test, but also was high in November.  His thyroid is out of whack, so I have a call in to the endocrinologist to get this settled.  (On a side note, why does the endocrinologist make more money than me when I am doing his job for him?)  I also noted that his vitamin D levels are very low, even though we supplement.  Mr Brittle bones could use some extra vitamin D, and vitamin D also helps with sleep wake cycles.  I am going to take him to the Orthopedic oncologist today for hopefully his last check up from his fractured leg last summer, and ask him how to best increase the vitamin D.

On another note, Mike today just up and decided that I should go to a salon and get a haircut and highlights.  Now this is probably no big deal to most people, but I have been trimming my own hair (yeah I know), and have only gotten salon color ONCE EVER on a gift certificate.  I know it sounds silly, but this almost moved me to tears.  This is God hearing, this is answered prayer.  This is God prompting my husband to say that looking and feeling good about myself is worth over a hundred freaking dollars, out of the blue.  I am so touched by our God of details.

I would also like to invite you to join in satellite prayer tomorrow at ~11:30am.  Our clergy and some staff are coming to our house to lay hands on Ben and pray over him and his room.  Please join in agreement in prayer for restoration and victory for him and for us.

 I am laid low in the dust;
   preserve my life according to your word.
 I gave an account of my ways and you answered me;
   teach me your decrees.
 Cause me to understand the way of your precepts,
   that I may meditate on your wonderful deeds.
 My soul is weary with sorrow;
   strengthen me according to your word.
 Keep me from deceitful ways;
   be gracious to me and teach me your law.
 I have chosen the way of faithfulness;
   I have set my heart on your laws.
 I hold fast to your statutes, LORD;
   do not let me be put to shame.
 I run in the path of your commands,
   for you have broadened my understanding.

God Bless, I can't wait to update you after our prayer time tomorrow!
